Don’ts-1. Don’t Use/Consume Drugs. Drugs is easily available in Bali. Many locales can walk to tourists to sell the drugs. Well, this is one side of story. The consumption or purchasing drugs in Bali can lead to serious criminal consequences. Drug is an offence in Bali and Balinese law does not tolerate usage of drugs by any means.
This week it was confirmed that the provincial government in Bali is working on a good tourist guidebook that will be published soon. In the meantime, the Indonesian Tourism Board, Wonderful Indonesia, has released a series of social media graphics to outline the do’s and don’ts for tourists in Bali.

DOs. 1. Learn a few phrases in Bahasa such as terima kasih, which means ‘thank you’. Or selamat pagi which means ‘good morning’. As a thoughtful gesture, say a few words to the Balinese in their indigenous language. ‘Hello’ is om swastiastu; ‘thank you’ – suksma and ‘you’re welcome’ – suksma mewali.
Bali authorities released a list of dos and don'ts for tourists to follow. The rules will be noted on a card that will be given to tourists upon arrival.
